The Heart of This Course...

Registration is now open and I'm thrilled to see all the participants beginning to file in for 'class'!!! Please remember that if you register by Friday, you get $10 off the regular registration price.

I've posted an excerpt from this year's course over at my blog and you're welcome to come and take a look to get a feel for what Boot Camp is like. The excerpt is a very small glimpse at the heart of this course and it might help you to get a better idea of what we'll be diving into. The excerpt is only a small fraction of a day's content during our two weeks together. In the course, a post like the one over there will be accompanied by an activity, inspiration, and thoughts from one of my special guests.

I'm so excited to meet you and begin the course! I can hardly wait until May 15th!!!

Introducing This Year's Special Guests...

This year, in addition to all of the prompts, thoughts, and activities that comprise the course content, I have asked some of my very artistic friends to be my special guests at Boot Camp. Throughout the two weeks, they'll be taking turns sharing thoughts on art, authenticity, and courage. These fine ladies have shared their hearts to give this years Creativity Boot Camp a new level of enrichment and I think you will fall in love with both them and their work. I'm so proud to introduce you to this year's special guests....

Xanthe Berkeley is a photographer, a lover of bright colors and sunshine - along with sand between her toes, things served generously during her 5 years living in Asia. Now living in London with her two boys and partner, Xanthe enjoys sitting around the campfire, growing beautiful things in the garden and singing along to music compiled by her boys. She is a Shutter Sister and a contributor for London vs. Paris.

Whitee Jenkins is a dancer, choreographer, photographer and mother extraordinaire. She brings light and beauty to the simple treasures of life at her blog Mom {Heart} Art.

Kristin Zecchinelli is a proud momma, living on the coast of Maine with her three children, hubby and one fat chocolate lab. She is a tragic knitter, avid blogger, and admitted sun worshiper and "flareoholic", and Shutter Sister. She thrives on finding beauty in her everyday. She likes collecting treasures with her children, D&D iced coffee, and a big pot of garlicky mussels. You can often find her pointing her Nikon straight at the sun, and yes, there is lots of sand in her camera bag.

Jamie is a passionate music fan, a fumbling photographer and a proud auntie. She is currently adjusting to life at home after 5 years of constant travel for a job she loves. While her suitcases are getting dusty, she is attempting to learn to cook and dreaming of future adventures.

Janine Boyd is a wife, "mum", teacher and generally creative soul who takes a lot of photographs, then spends hours playing with them, and other pretty bits and bobs, in an effort to ensure that the details of our lives are documented and not forgotten

Jade Sheldon is an artist, photographer, illustrator and uber creative soul living in Portland Oregon.

A journalist by nature and profession, Hyacynth Worth has been on special assignment covering the foreign land of motherhood for nearly three years. She blogs about her life at Undercover Mother where she also taps into her creative-writing-bleeding heart, writing life outloud and tackling subjects like faith, marriage, organic living and Curious George. Because who doesn’t love that little monkey, really? She is a business owner and a co-founder of Bigger Picture Blogs.

Dana Barbieri is an artist and designer who is on a journey of discovery with her hubby and two little ones in tow. She lives in the foothills of the Catskills in New York State.

Corinne Cunningham is a mother and a writer living in the Northeast coast. She finds beauty in the daily and finds the strength and courage to discuss it all with grace on her blog. She spends her days enjoying the beautifully flawed reality of her life and her life while knitting for her family and her Etsy shop.

Catherine Giroux is a photographer and mother from Quebec. Always aiming to create authentic images, she photographs using ambient light. Her goal is not to create perfect picture but a story. She is a maniac of details and she does it so well.

Barb Stellmach is a 30 year old wife, mother, jewelry designer, photographer, enthusiastic knitter, small business owner, tea drinker and coffee snob, lover of all things vintage and who is all about the details. She has realized life is too short and has decided to make her dreams a reality of living in an Airstream while exploring the USA.

A.Jarret has a passion for natural light and capturing simple, everyday things...most often with her Pentax K1000 film camera. She is the owner of Gabrielle Kai Photography and currently lives in Pennsylvania with her husband and two small children.

April Bowles-Olin helps creative entrepreneurs turn their dreams into reality through her website, Blacksburg Belle, where she writes about marketing, blogging, and increasing business success. She uses her background in psychology to help creatives reach their goals, take charge of their inner critic, and build businesses around their dream lifestyles. Connect with April on Twitter @blacksburgbelle.

Alita Maini is a writer, photographer, and mother with an infinite desire to create and learn all she can about photography. She creates words, memories, moments of time captured through her lens, art, poetry, and thoughts and loves to share these visions, novelties, and ambitions with others.

Registration opens on Monday, friends!!!! I sincerely hope to see you here!!!
